William Pike

Last week on Friday all of Te Ngahere were doing activities based on a man called William Pike. We also watched a webinar about him. He told us about climbing Mt. Scott and a lot of other things too. We made a google drawing with our answers to some questions that had been set up for us. Two of the questions were related to a story we read earlier in the year. I enjoyed it and wish to do it again. Here is my drawing.

My Reading Goals

Last week Te Ngahere made our reading goals for term 3. Our WALT was we are learning to identify our learning goals. To select our new goals we had to come down to the mat as a reading group and say what we did not know how to do our what it was. Then Whaea Chrissy shared the document with us and then we had to ctrl c ctrl v them onto our goals presentation and date them. After they were greened on the hand in sheet we were then allowed to make the google drawing, as you can see.

This is my Native Birds slide. We did reading projects about birds of NZ and birds feeders.

My Breleant Bird Feeder

This week for Oral Language we presented a bird feeder that we designed. My one is a rounded cage filled with flowers for the nectar birds and a perch.

Caring For Baby Birds

This is an activity that we did for reading to go with our native bird project. We had to rewrite it into a procedural text.

My Thinglink

This week for Oral language we made a thinglink on the science activities I did my one on the floating egg one it was so fun to do this science.

My Charlotte's Web Presentation

This is my Charlotte's Web Presentation it took a long time to do it but I am very happy of what I have done and learnt. We had to answer questions and do vocabulary and an awesome play but my favorite part was the activities.

Breleaent BFG Book Review

This is my term 4 book review of the BFG. We put the setting, character, storyline and the part we liked in it. We presented it in oral language this week.
