Endemic Birds of New Zealand

This is my Native Birds slide. We did reading projects about birds of NZ and birds feeders.

My Breleant Bird Feeder

This week for Oral Language we presented a bird feeder that we designed. My one is a rounded cage filled with flowers for the nectar birds and a perch.

My Ugly Athletics Photo

On Monday we had the Inter School Athletics at Bledisloe Domain. My favourite was the high jump and hurdles because I won 4th in high jump and 3 in hurdles. For me the worst activity was the 400m run. The schools that went were: BOI collage, Kawakawa, Maromaku, Motatau and Waikare. It was the best athletics ever.

Caring For Baby Birds

This is an activity that we did for reading to go with our native bird project. We had to rewrite it into a procedural text.

This week for Oral language we made a thinglink on the science activities I did my one on the floating egg one it was so fun to do this science.

Awesome Amazing Action Wonderful World

Last Wednesday we went to Action World for a school trip. We walked all the way there. My favorite part was the rock wall, Tarzan swing,  water slide and inflatable slide. We went in the afternoon with rooms 5,7 and 8. It was the best school trip to Action World ever.

Pet Day Fun

Last Friday it was Pet Day. We got to make vaseline saucers, sand saucers, wine biscuits, jam jar and a novelty container. My favourite was the novelty container and the pet parade. I liked the rabbits and Tessa’s pet cat Sophie. There were also some very interesting pets like frogs and lizards that lived in water.

My Charlotte's Web Presentation

This is my Charlotte's Web Presentation it took a long time to do it but I am very happy of what I have done and learnt. We had to answer questions and do vocabulary and an awesome play but my favorite part was the activities.

Breleaent BFG Book Review

This is my term 4 book review of the BFG. We put the setting, character, storyline and the part we liked in it. We presented it in oral language this week.

Terrific Triumph Term Goals

We made our term 4 goals. Mine is presented on a google drawing. The newest goal is athletics for this term.

Happy Healthy Herific Eating

We learnt about sea food/ kai moana, the food pyramid, vegetables, parts of a plant and flower, how to take care of plants, we even planted our own plants and we did so much more.

Come See, my Toast Procedure Writing

I learnt how to write a procedural text. My first one is where I have not learnt anything and my second one is where I have learnt some of the text structure and the language features like action verbs and time sequence words.

I learnt how to write a narrative last term and I have improved a lot since last year. Last year my narratives were horrible. In my narratives I need to improve using metaphor.
